Gingerly Update
There has been some controversy over Gingerly… just what we hear from people riding the trails. We didn’t communicate to people that the trail is not complete and we are working on a e-mail for the membership. In the meantime, however, if people ask WHY we built the last part the answer is:
The easy way beyond the end of the newest section is to turn right and go over to Cosens Bay Trail! There are novice riders who are not comfortable with riding into Bear Valley.
The plan is to continue the trail back into Bear Valley from the bridge on Cosens Bay Trail, it will make an easy way out from the kiosk with the big bikes.
The objective is to get an easy way into the kiosk and beyond.
This project is set in six stages and will take some time to complete.
Thanks for your patience. ![]()
Cynthia, I think we need another “No Horses” sign at the beginning of the new Gingerly as lots of horses have been on the new trail and making a mess! There was a sign there but I think it was moved to the other end. If you have any signs I’d be happy to install. Terry
a few of us jogged the trail yesterday and it’s in good shape. The horses were on it when it was soft and it left hoof imprints but it’s working in good now.
